Research Center News

Ralph continues to teach classes on Fridays and Saturdays at the research center to provide material that will help our families teach their children. This year we taught courses on 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 & 2 Kings, courses on Shakespeare's Julius Caesar and Romeo and Juliet, and a comparative religion course on Islam.

Ralph also continues English classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday to bring in a little money (about $3000 a month) to help keep pay expenses.

Our internet ministry has improved with the help of a new webmaster, Emeth Hesed Smith. Emeth redesigned our site and is helping Ralph to make a new site for next year — trinitarianism.com. Ralph has to write essays on Van Til, Bavinck, John Frame, Vern Poythress, James Jordan, and others before the site will be ready. We hope to provide an introduction to the Reformed contributions to the doctrine of the Trinity, especially those of Cornelius Van Til and men influenced by him.

In March of 2002, Ralph spoke on eschatology at the Kobe Theological Hall, the theological seminary of the Covenanters (Reformed Presbyterian Church of Japan). In January, 2003, he will be teaching a course on apologetics and giving a few lectures on Islam.

A new edition of Ralph's book, Trinity and Paradox, should be coming out in the not too distant future as well. Ralph is working on his dissertation on comparative religion and on another book that introduces the Christian worldview from a distinctly Trinitarian perspective.
